‍The system is ideal for shallow attenuation, storage and conveyance of storm water. Permavoid 85 is a modular, interlocking geocellular polypropylene unit designed to be a highly durable, lightweight, and shallow foundation substitute. The system is distinguished by its exceptionally high compressive strength and flexural resistance. The units are connected using PermaTies to form a rigid horizontal structural plate, ideal for multifunctional foundation applications. When used in conjunction with Permavoid Capillary Cylinders, the system can be employed in water-sensitive urban designs, allowing for the mitigation of rainwater flooding, storage, transport, and the implementation of natural capillary (plant) irrigation without the need for energy, pumps, or (indoor) water storage tanks.
